A 55-year-old farmer is recovering in hospital after he was seriously injured in a cattle loading accident on a rural property, 50km north of Mackay on Tuesday.
The Mt Ossa man suffered serious injuries to his right leg after it was crushed between a beast and a truck on the private property.
It is believed the incident occurred when cattle were being loaded onto the truck for transport.

The RACQ CQ Rescue helicopter was tasked by Queensland Health about 10.15am and landed at the property on the Bruce Highway just after 10.30am on Tuesday in gusty, wet conditions, about 200 metres from the property homestead.
The patient had suffered suspected leg fractures and was in considerable pain.
The medical team on board the helicopter, including a doctor, Critical Care Paramedic and rescue crewman, delivered treatment and pain relief before loading the patient into the helicopter for the flight to Mackay Base Hospital.
He arrived at the hospital in a stable condition about 11.30am for scans and further treatment.
