Cows hit 377c, steer price peaks at 806c at CQLX

A run of 144 heavy Brahman feeder steers made 450c/kg and weighed 436kg to return $1964/head for vendor Day Grazing, Marylands, St Lawrence, at the CQLX prime and store sale.

EXTRA processors joined the buying panel at the Central Queensland Livestock Exchange pushing the cow price 31c to reach 377c/kg for a Brahman cross line during the prime and store sale on Wednesday.
