Biosecurity Queensland have investigated complaints made by landholders in the Flinders River catchment area regarding spray drift concerns from neighboring farms.
The Flinders River catchment area is predominantly grazing, but over the years the region has attracted interstate interest with farmers from New South Wales investing in the area.
Biosecurity Queensland investigated two alleged spray drift incidents relating to one property.
A Biosecurity Queensland spokesperson said it was alleged that herbicide treatment on a Julia Creek property was responsible for causing damage to trees and pasture on an adjoining property.
Following an investigation there was no conclusive evidence found to suggest that there had been any breach of Queensland's agriculture chemical use legislation.
