There was a total yarding 1638 head at Mareeba on Tuesday including three sold open auction.
The yarding averaged 361.12c/kg, averaging $1178.04/head. This includes the Mossman Show cattle.
The yarding consisted of 262 bulls averaging 377.3c/kg selling to a top of 630.2c/kg (new saleyards record for mickeys), 504 cows averaging 279.6c/kg selling to a top of 403.2c/kg (new saleyards record), 160 heifers averaging 366.1c/kg selling to a top of 448.2c/kg, 420 steers averaging 365.1c/kg selling to a top of 492.2c/kg, 192 yearling heifers averaging 434.5c/kg selling to a top of 550.2c/kg (new saleyards record), 96 yearling steers averaging 483.13c/kg selling to a top of 550.2c/kg, one bobby calf at 450c/kg, one cow and calf at $1900, one cow and calf at $1240 and one cow and calf at $1200.
