There was a yarding of 886 head at Mareeba on Tuesday including six sold open auction.
The yarding averaged 306.87c/kg for an average of $980.74/head.
It consisted of 162 bulls averaging 318.5c selling to a top of 428.2c, 252 cows averaging 222.9c selling to a top of 320.2c, 108 heifers averaging 296c selling to a top of 366.2c, 186 steers averaging 341.1c selling to a top of 407.2c, 114 yearling heifers averaging 373.5c selling to a top of 431.2c, 58 yearling steers averaging 416.3c selling to a top of 440.2c, three cows and calves at $1600, two cows and calves at $1500, and one cow and calf at $880.
