AFTER a tumultuous final year of schooling, the class of 2020 has kicked up their heels in Charters Towers to celebrate the completion of 13 years of schooling.
Students from Blackheath and Thornburgh College were the first to celebrate the milestone, with graduation ceremonies held at the end of term three to allow students to focus solely on their final exams in term four.
Columba Catholic College students had their final assembly on November 20 and followed up a liturgy and graduation dinner.
The All Souls St Gabriels School Class of 2020 finished off the unprecedented year with their valedictory and mass of Godspeed on the school campus, also on November 20.
The graduates finalised their secondary education in what was the school's 100th year.
While the students missed out on many events this year, the classes of 2020 showed extraordinary resilience which will stand them in good stead for their future journeys.
