PRODUCERS travelled from across North Queensland to secure quality Brahman genetics at the 33rd annual Wilangi Invitation Sale at Charters Towers.
The day started with the crowd standing in solemn silence to remember legendary livestock auctioneer Garth Hughes, who died in Brisbane aged 81 earlier this month.

Another 80 registered herd bulls grossed $624,000, to average $7800 with a top price of $18,000.
Fifty-seven herd bulls also sold to a top of $18,000, to gross $345,500 and average $6061.
See who was out and about.
