SURAT property Cooraki sold at a McGrath online auction for $3.85 million on April 30.
Covering 2128 hectares (5258 acres), the property has quality country ranging from undulating heavy black soil downs to undulating Bauhinia and Griman creek frontage.
The sale price is equal to about $1809/ha ($732/acre).
There are nine paddocks with 9.5km of exclusion fencing. The 400ha of cultivation has heavy, self-mulching soil suited to grain crops or backgrounding sheep and cattle.
Water is supplied by six dams plus semi-permanent holes in Griman Creek, and bores.
Improvements include four bedroom homestead, machinery shed with workshop, seed silo, four stand shearing shed, steel cattle yards.
