Brangus bulls topped at $19,000 on the way to averaging $6592 at Wednesday's annual Triple B Production Sale, Dingo.
Vendors, the Barlow family saw 65 Brangus bulls sell to two states from an initial field of 68 to end in a 95 percent clearance at auction.
Market topper was the 23-month-old, 722kg, 121sq cm EMA, 12/8mm P8 and rib fat, 4.7pc IMF, Triple B N405 by Triple B Jasper, selling to the Salisbury family, Bimbadeen Stud, Eidsvold. The youngster was a heifer's first calf and recorded a tenderness rating of 9.
Next best at $15,500 was the 25-month-old, 738kg, 128 sq cm EMA, Triple B N506 (AI) (ET) by Csonka Of Brinks selling to the Dunn family, Tarcoola Cattle Company, Tarcoola, Dingo.
In addition to the male component in the sale a field of 220 commercial heifers were offered and sold to average $599. These topped at $820 per head and recorded a total clearance.
