TWO men have been charged following a cross-border operation between the Queensland and NSW police.
A search warrant was executed at an Inglewood property on May 9 where Queensland police recovered a 2013 Toyota LandCruiser ute. The vehicle was allegedly stolen from a property at St George in the early hours of May 7.
Police also recovered a small amount of methylamphetamine (commonly known as ice) and ammunition.
A 28-year-old man was charged with one count of possession of tainted property.
A 31-year-old man was conveyed to Warwick Watch House where he was charged with six counts of enter premises and commit an indictable offence and one count each of trespass, stealing, possessing dangerous drugs and obstruct police. He was scheduled to appear in the Warwick Magistrates Court today.
Detective Inspector Mat Kelly said joint operations would continue across the South West District.
"We will continue to focus on disrupting rural criminal behaviour with an aim to deter future offending, Detective Inspector Kelly said.
NSW State Rural Crime coordinator, Detective Inspector Cameron Whiteside, said the arrests served as a reminder to offenders that state borders would not prevent police from apprehending people targeting rural communities.
