Reaching into the pocket next for the second top price was the Appleton family, Star Downs, Alpha for the Lot 43 Angus bull, Bauhinia Park Net Worth M65, selling for $15,000.

The Charolais section of the sale saw its top price bull, Bauhinia Park Macho, reach a strong $11,500.

Mr Kriedemann said he was trying to keep a good line of bulls possible and this bull ended up towards the end of the line and he was concerned he would lose out on some of the better bulls so he upped the money for this bull and pulled his average back slightly, but at the end of the day he was happy to be heading home with two very good bulls.
The two purchases for the Morowitz operations will go into the commercially focused Charbray program with over 70 breeders, which Mr Kriedemann stated the strong Charbray genetics at the Comet property are his bread and butter.
Second top priced Charolais went to two lots with Bauhinia Park Matrix and Bauhinia Park Murphy R/F bulls reaching a close $11,000.
“Today’s sale was absolutely unreal, it's dry and there are a few things against industry at present, so we are really tickled pink that people have backed us with our bulls and this gives us a great incentive to get better and better at what we are doing,” Jeff Holzwart said.
“We are very family orientated and we can't do this without the kids. So everyone is involved from the catalogues to grooming bulls, we are a tight knit family and I couldn't be more thankful,” Jeff said.
New and repeat buyers were present on the day travelling from as far as Tambo, Longreach and Yeppoon.
Mrs Raelea Holzwart said it was lovely to see some fresh and familiar faces.
