RESIDENTS traveled from across North Queensland for the first day of the 2018 Richmond Field Days today.
With well over 100 exhibits, there was plenty to keep the crowds occupied at the Richmond Racecourse.
A total of 33 bulls from seven vendors went under the hammer at the All Breeds Bull Sale, with an array of Brahman, Charbray, Charolais, Droughtmaster and Santa Gertrudis Bulls all selling.
The afternoon got loud and dusty as four teams competed in the thrilling ride-on lawn mower race, with three teams making it to the finish.
Tonight, a Stockplace Marketing Cocktail Party will be held at the Richmond Civic Centre.
It follows a successful meet and greet which was held at the Richmond Racecourse on Thursday night.
