Steers over 550kg sold to 261c/kg and averaged 261c, while steers in the 400-550kg class sold to 251c, averaging 251c.
Heifers over 450kg made to 245c and averaged 225c, heifers in the 350-450kg class sold to 235c, averaging 219c.
Wallabella, Wallumbilla sold Angus cross heifers for 245c at 468kg returning $1148. The Brahman cross cows sold for 215c at 523kg returning $1127. S&R White Family Trust, Tarrebar, Roma sold Charolais cross heifers for 231c at 590kg returning $1364. The Charolais cross cows sold for 215c at 650kg returning $1399. Dart Pastoral Co, Springbok, Injune sold Droughtmaster cross heifers for 211c at 465kg returning $982. The Droughtmaster cross cows sold for 215c at 507kg returning $1092.
Cows over 500kg peaked at 215c and averaged 207c, while cows in the 400-500kg class also topped at 215c and averaged 196c. Cows 300-400kg sold to 200c and averaged 171c.
JW Blackburn, Mt Bindango, Roma sold Brahman cows for 215c at 566kg or $1216. SJ Hoffman, Lesmoir, Yuleba sold Droughtmaster cross cows for 215c at 554kg or $1191. DW&SG Rowbotham, White Park, Roma sold Santa cross cows for 210c at 643kg or $1352.
