A CELEBRATION of northern Australian beef industry identity John Quintana's life will be at Hillside, Boodua (near Toowoomba) at 11.30am-2.30pm on Tuesday, April 2.
In news received by the North Queensland Register on Wednesday evening, the Quintana family says friends are invited to celebrate John's life at the family home, Hillside, 1452 Kingsthorpe Haden Road, Boodua.
Mr Quintana, 66, and Charlie Maher, 48, the chief executive officer of Ray White Livestock, were killed in a single engine aircraft crash at Roma early on Monday morning.
The Queensland Livestock Exporters Association has offered to coordinate a bus either from the airport and or from a central point depending on demand. Unfortunately flight delays into Brisbane of at least an hour are common place so arrival the night before is recommended.
Interest in a bus from Brisbane should be emailed to robynm@austrex.com.au with a cc to: angus@aaalivestock.com.au
