THE last stud sale of the year on the Dalrymple Saleyards schedule the Wilangi Invitation Sale saw some very impressive bulls enter the sale ring, and in a welcome change of pace in what has been a tough selling year, prices attained by the vendors were solid as well.
The sale topped at $21,000 for a stylish, upstanding grey offered by Stewart and Kerry Wallace, Wallace Stud, in Lot 110 Wallace Mr Mint 21/13. Mr Mint sold to Brett Nobbs, NCC Brahmans, Nobbs Cattle Co, Duaringa.

A total of 45 premier select sires grossed $270,000 to average $6,000 per head with a top of $21,000.
86 registered herd bulls made $277,000 to average $3220 with a top of $6,000, and 88 herd bulls made $210,500 to average $2392 topping at $5000.
In total 219 bulls sold for a sale gross of $757,500, averaging $3468 with a clearance of 92.5 per cent.
