With yet another smaller yarding Emerald Agents yarded just over 700 head on Thursday with prices easing in most categories mainly quality driven.
Heavy bullocks over 550kg made to 269c/kg to average 263c, with steers 500-550kg too few to reliably quote, steers 400-500kg steers topped at 275c to average 260c, steers 350-400kg reached 257c to average 241c, 280-350kg steers made to 256c to average 222c, while steers in the weaner weight ranges made to 270c to average 239c.
Heavy heifers over 400kg were too few to quote, while heifers 350-400kg made to 231c to average 215c, 280-350kg heifers made to 229c to average 198c, while heifers in the weaner weight ranges made to 215c to average 183c.
Cows over 520kg topped at 176c to average 173c, while cows 450-520kg topped at 170c to average 163c. There were no cows and calves penned.

Stew and Di Jeppesen, Olive Vale, Comet sold Charbray cross cows to 176c to weigh 608kg or $1071. Rob and Kylie Cunningham, Myrtle Park, Comet sold Santa cows to 176c to weigh 671kg or $1182.
