THE Marlborough property Develin Station remains on the market despite being put to auction yesterday.
Consisting of 13,777 hectares (34,044 acres) and said to run 3750 adult equivalents, Develin Station is being marketed by Brian Dawson Auctions in Rockhampton.
The country runs from fertile softwood and brigalow scrub soils through well grassed bloodwood, iron bark and rosewood country, with patches of brigalow across gum creek flats rising to an area of tableland.
About 4800ha has been pulled in the past two years with 2000ha seeded with a mixture of pasture species.
The well water property is divided in to 17 main paddocks and nine holding paddocks plus laneways and water squares. There are four sets of cattle yards.
Other infrastructure includes a renovated four bedroom Queenslander, second home, workshop and five bay shed.
