STAMFORD RACES
THE Stamford Race Club Races and Community Fun Day is a great family-oriented event with a crowd of about 500 people attending last year’s event.
Stamford Race Club committee member Jane McNamara said for the first time in 2016 over 80 RV and Campers attended the day.
“We love having our visitors come to Stamford from all over Australia and thank them for all for their assistance,” Jane said.
Continued support from our many sponsors has allowed the annual festivities to continue to provide a great day of entertainment and showcase the hospitality of the area.
This year is looking to be another great outback Queensland event with the usual high quality standard of entertainment including fashions, fun and friendship.
“For the first time in many years we’ll be including live music by Jeff Salter as well as having Windy Wizard and his tricks to dazzle the kids and young at heart,” she said.
This year Stamford Races and Community Fun Day will be on Saturday, July 1. Come along, bring your mates and enjoy the country hospitality. Don't forget to bring your swag and enjoy the complimentary Sunday morning breakfast.
The community and merry band of volunteers look forward to seeing you at this at Stamford (Hughenden - Winton Road).
