THE recent annual Elders Real Estate National Conference at Jupiters Casino on the Gold Coast saw more than 260 company representatives attending from all states and territories, including representatives from Shanghai in China.
Industry speakers from a wide range of disciplines presented during the two and a half day event. Mark Woolley and Brendan McGrath from McInnes Wilson Lawyers, Tim Lane from Herron Todd White and Tim Blakely, Domain Rural national manager were just a few of the speakers who were in demand.
Elders Real Estate NSW, Queensland and NT manager Jason Michelmore said the event was a roaring success and highlighted to me that as a real estate business we are definitely on the right track.
“The agricultural industry knowledge and our marketing experience of our sales representatives throughout rural and regional Australia are really second to none,” Mr Michelmore said.
“The strength of our business is definitely the network of our representatives on the ground, who actually understand our client’s operations and their needs.
“Over the last 12 months we have seen exceptional growth in our business with our sales team representatives growing by 35.4 per cent throughout NSW, Queensland and NT.” This number is expected to further grow substantially over the next 12 month period.
“One of the areas that we focused on at the Conference was how we can better celebrate our successes within the media space. A substantial amount of property that we turnover as a business is often sold under the radar and is not recognised in the market place.
“This is mainly due to the fact that we have a continued relationship with our buyers post settlement with the other products that Elders offers such as livestock marketing and farm supplies. Most purchasers want to keep private the sale price of what they paid for their property of which we highly respect.
“Our commitment to further grow our footprint is evident with a number of real estate acquisitions that have taken place within the last six months throughout Australia, including a strategic acquisition of a long standing exceptional business in Toowoomba.”
