A man has been airlifted by RACQ LifeFlight Rescue following a farming accident on a property near Oakey.
A MAN in his 60s has been airlifted by RACQ LifeFlight Rescue following a farming accident on a property south west of Oakey.
The man had been working on a paddock when he fell from a seeder and was crushed by the tractor’s levelling compactor.
The man was flown to Toowoomba Hospital.
He suffered a suspected leg injury in the accident.
The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was tasked to airlift the injured farmer at 10.15am, landing at the scene within 30 minutes with a critical care doctor and QAS Flight Paramedic on board.
He was flown to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition to undergo medical tests and scans.
