THE Eidsvold property Lochaber was sold for $3.145 million at a Ray White Rural auction in Brisbane today (Friday). The property was sold with 284 breeding cattle plus calves.
The 5283 hectare (13,056 acre) property is in three freehold titles is made up of ironbark, bloodwood and associated sweet forest country. Lochaber has an estimated carrying capacity of 650 breeders.
Pastures comprise mainly of Burnett bluegrass, black spear grass and soft native pastures.
There is also a 10 megalitre stockwater allocation from Burnett River as well as bores, dams, seasonal water in creeks.
Improvements include a main residence, cottage, cattle yards, and sheds. The development approval for a 250 SCU feedlot.
Lochaber was offered with breeders and plant.
