IT was a bittersweet sale at Cunderdin, with great prices being received for the machinery on offer, but vendor Bill Gorringe admitted that he "wasn't travelling very well" health-wise.
But he was extremely happy with the machinery portion of the sale, both for the prices obtained and the virtually total clearance.
He was also grateful for the community support he had received in preparing for the sale, demonstrating the wisdom of his decision 20 years ago to move to Cunderdin.
Landmark auctioneer Tiny Holly announced that no reserve prices were applicable for the machinery portion of the Gorringe sale, although subsequent bidding showed that no reserves would have been needed.
