THE Mareeba Stock and Rural Crime Squad Detectives and Ravenshoe Police are currently investigating the theft of five large cattle skulls from Glen Gordon Station near Millstream.
The skulls were taken from an open hay shed where they were placed beside a shipping container.
The skulls were taken sometime between August 9 and September 4.
They are believed to be worth at least $1000 each, however it is the sentimental value of the skulls that the owner feels more disappointment for.
The large skulls were from old stud cows and bulls that were bred on Glen Gordon.
Detectives believe that due to the large size of the skulls, with horns, it would be likely anyone that has seen them will remember them.
