The Charters Towers Country Music Festival has officially kicked off for a weekend full of live entertainment, stellar talent and a strong community atmosphere.
Celebrating its 45th year, the festival is a highlight on the North Queensland event calendar featuring leading professional artists and hosting a country music talent search.
Saturday morning opened with a talent quest with local upcoming artists taking the stage to perform. Brad Cox and other guest artists will entertain attendees well into the night.
The event wraps up tomorrow evening.
