The first day of one of the country's biggest bull sales, Rockhampton Brahman Week, kicks off at CQLX today with 297 lots catalogued for day one.
Grey sires will lead the three-day event from 8am, which attracts bulls and bull buyers from across the country.
Last year's sale grossed at $9.615m and averaged $12,406, with a sale record top price of $210,000 for Clukan Baobab selling to Gavin Scott, Rosetta Grazing, Collinsville, and Owen Scott, Ruan Grazing, Clermont.
This year's sale attracted 909 bulls for the final nominations.
