The Julia Creek Hotel is on sale to the market via an expressions of interest process through Savills Hotel Group.
Savills said the Julia Creek Hotel, known locally as the Top Pub, was a family owned and operated country pub, dedicated to offering travellers and local workers quality cold drinks, delicious food, clean accommodation and friendly hospitality service.'
It is one of two pubs in town, situated 250km of Mount Isa and is adjacent to the railway station and close to the Flinders Highway.
The hotel is on a 1,316sqm corner site with a mix of trade across food and beverage, some retail through the bar, and accommodation.
The hotel facilities include, public bar, dining room, commercial kitchen, beer garden, 11 hotel rooms, three cabins, staff accommodation, internal bottle shop and storage and maintenance shed.
Savills, who are also putting Cloncurry Leichhardt Hotel on the market, said Queensland's regional pub market has shown resilience throughout COVID-19 with multiple transactions occurring across a broad mix of privately owned and larger formatted hotelier groups.
The sale of the Julia Creek Hotel will be offered via an expression of interest process closing Thursday October 28 at 4pm.
