Police in the state's far north are currently coordinating a search for a missing Victorian man who disappeared while on a four wheel-drive adventure in remote north Queensland.
Concerns were sparked after the man failed to arrive at a campsite on Monday night.
He was last seen around midday on Monday heading east on Frenchman's track, between Portland Road and Pascoe River.
He had been travelling in convoy with another Victorian man and the two were traversing the Frenchman's track together with great difficulty when he made the decision to turn back instead of crossing the Pascoe River.
The pair made arrangements to meet up at a campsite near Wenlock River however, the man was reported missing to police after he failed to show up.
Police are urging anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact them immediately.
