The 2021 Quamby Rodeo attracted a bumper crowd over the weekend with locals enjoying a great day out and celebrating into the night.
Quamby All Sport Association president Anthony McMillan said the event was a chance for everyone to catch up and enjoy where they live in western Queensland.
"It's not all glitz and glamour, it's not about making lots of money," he said.
"It's all very simple; it's about good simple food from the kitchen, it's about a cold beer or soft drink from the bar and that is what makes it so special."
From humble beginnings in 1997, the event has grown to be a highlight of the western Queensland social calendar.
It was created to provide a fun and affordable family day out with any profits from the day being invested back into the local community and that goal continues today.
