THE Gympie Carcass Classic has again delivered an exceptional line of carcase results.
Held at the Gympie State High School, the awards dinner attracted a crowd of about 200 people .
Winners include Doug Pratt, Chatsworth, who took home the prestigious Charlie Cotter All Rounder Trophy for his Brangus-cross.
The Franz family, Main Creek Pastoral, Manumbar, exhibited the most suitable carcase for the domestic market - a Santa Gertrudis-cross heifer. Terry Nolan's Cooloola Blondes had the reserve.
The most suitable steer (opposite sex) carcase came from Brenton Bowtell, Toowoomba, with a Blonde.
Chris and Hayley Heness, Ridgie Didge Droughtmasters, Goomeri, has the top two most profitable animals and the best aggregate of three carcases.
