QDO would like to wish its long-standing executive assistant all the best as she begins retirement and her venture around Australia. By now, anyone who has dialled into the office has been greeted by Kerrie's chipper voice who happily assists with any questions or queries she is presented.
Her time with us has been a pleasure and more than valuable. Kerrie has been the driving force behind QDO's partnership with Make it Cheaper (MIC) saving our members thousands of dollars on their electricity accounts.
She also worked very passionately to assist farmers any time they were in need, recently emphasised by her work to help with securing financial, water and fodder support through the various government and non-government assistant channels in response to the drought.
Kerrie's departure is bittersweet, and she will be deeply missed by the team, the board, and members alike. Kerrie regrets not having been able to meet all farmers in person but wants all to know that she will certainly miss the relationships and conversations that she has made with everyone over the years.
In the wake of Kerrie's departure, we welcome to the team Lynelle Rogers as the new administration officer for QDO.
Lynelle brings to the table decades of administration experience, working previously with the Santa Gertrudis Cattle Breeders Australia and Shorthorn Cattle Society of Australia. With Lynelle's previous experience I believe she will hit the ground running, managing the administration, and working alongside the team in the delivery of projects.
Kerrie has left behind big shoes to fill, which we believe that Lynelle is more than capable to step into. Lynelle will be the frontline for all your inquiries so please feel free to introduce yourselves the next time you call the office.
