Mareeba Combined Agents penned a total of 1460 head at this week's prime and special store cattle sale, a decrease of 165 head on the previous week.
Two local processors were present along with three traders and a large gallery of local buyers.
The yarding consisted of 240 steers averaging 334.3c selling to a top of 382.2c, 385 bulls averaging 302.6c selling to a top of 400.2c, 229 cows averaging 254.3c selling to a top of 330.2c, 365 heifers averaging 339.1c selling to a top of 389.2c, 174 yearling heifers averaging 363.5c selling to a top of 414.2c and 63 yearling steers averaging 422.3c selling to a top of 454.2c.
