THE focus of the property market will again be on Central Queensland, with Burngrove a 3181 hectare (7860 acres) freehold property with an adjoining 2300ha (5683 acres) of leased land at Blackwater.
Featuring a Capricorn Highway frontage, Burngrove will be auctioned online by JLL Agribusiness on November 18.
The property comprises of predominantly brigalow, bauhinia and bottletree scrub country. There are extensive stands of established buffel grass on its black and red loam soils.
The majority of Burngrove has previously been cleared and blade ploughed. The property is currently destocked, it is carrying a large body of feed.
Improvements include some new boundary fencing, recently renovated cattle yards, and a water reticulation system supplemented from the Bedford Weir.
There is also an extensive network of dams on the property, that are all fenced and equipped with solar pumps to service adjoining tanks and troughs.
The freehold section of the property is split into four main paddocks that feed into two laneways leading to the centrally located yards. The leased land associated with the Blackwater Coal Mine is fenced into five paddocks.
Burngrove will be auctioned online on November 18.
