Heavy steers from 400-500kg sold to 383c/kg to average 353c, feeder steers from 350-400kg sold to 398c to average 350c, medium weight steers from 280-350kg made to 444c to average 379c, weaner steers from 200-280kg sold to 468c to average 422c, while weaner steers under 200kg sold to 468c to average 429c.
Medium weight 280-350kg heifers sold to 396c to average 336c, 200-280kg weaner heifers made to a top of 408c to average 378c, while weaner heifers under 200kg sold to a top of 400c to average 378c.
Heavy cows over 520kg topped at 285c to average 277c, while cows 450-520kg topped at 310c to average 274c. Heavy bulls over 600kg sold to a top of 339c to average 323c.
Rob and Kylie Cunningham, Myrtle Park, Comet, sold Santa cows to 282c weighing 590kg for a $1664 return. Charles Carmel McKinlay, Bloodwood, Yamala, sold Brahman cows to 283c to weigh 582kg to return $1649. Simon Stanhope, Tomahawk, Clermont, sold Brahman steers to 345c weighing 466kg to return $1609.
