A CLASSIC collection of old tractors, trucks, vehicles and machinery and parts are up for grabs at a Southbrook clearing sale being conducted by Ray White Rural from 9am on Saturday, September 19.
Offered by Laurel Cornford (pictured centre with Ray White Rural auctioneer Rob Caton and her son-in-law Trent Twidale), the offering can be inspected from 10am to 2pm on Friday, September 18.
The tractor collection is particularly impressive, including a running 1960s Fiat 80R tractor; a Sift TD4, a running 1951 Hanomag, a 10/60 Nuffield, a Chamberlain Countryman 6, an original Case 900B, a Fordson Major, and a Fiat 615.
There is also a near complete Fiat 80R tandem tractor, a Case Dex, Massey Harris 555, a Sift TD4 for parts, an Ansaldo TCA70 for parts, a Massey Harris 744, two near complete Fordson Majors, various Massey Harris 744D, 55K, 55D tractor chassis and transmissions, a Fordson County crawler transmission, a Fowler Challenger motor and parts and a Chamberlain 306 motor for parts.
The Holden vehicles on offer include a running, one owner FC ute, an EJ H wagon, an FB wagon, an HR shell, and an FE shell.
The trucks line-up is also stacked with history, including a 1942 Chevrolet and the shell of a 1952 Ford. There is also two International C1800s and a Ford F500.
The farm equipment and collectibles section features a Chamberlain one way plough, a No.4 Sunshine header used for seed grading, a complete No.7 Sunshine header, mouldboard plough, pumps and stationary motors, and a large quatity of Perkins, Holden, and Ford motors.
