Champion pen of steers was won by HK Dwyer, Biggenden, which were weaner steers averaging 333kg and returned $1440/hd or 432c/kg.
LR and AM Marshall's No. 9 steers averaging 383kg sold for 390c or $1496. KG and BG Ball's 4-tooth steers sold for 363c or $1500. WED and SCE Appleton sold a run of Charbray weaner steers for 440c topping at $1235.
BR and SJ Pailthorpe's champion female pen sold to NSW buyers for 380c or $810. RC Bowman's weaner heifers sold to 389c or $856. HK Dwyer sold weaner heifers averaging 300kg for 380c or $1140.
L and A Marshall's No. 9 heifers sold for $1290 or 385c. Euroka Grazing's No. 9 heifers sold for 350 to 371c topping at $1150.
Other sale highlights included GS Ogle selling Brahman No. 9 steers averaging 387kg for $1417 or 366c. KR and TM Myles sold 340kg Brahman steers for 391c or $1336. L and M Felesina's Brangus weaner steers averaged 336kg to sell for $1310 or 390c. Kyntyre Partnership's Santa weaner steers sold for 423c or $1162.
DS Keitley's No. 9 Droughtmaster cross heifers returned $1350/hd or 354c. Monal Grazing's Droughtmaster cross No. 9 heifers averaged 300kg for 347c or $1040. Braford weaner heifers on account of Galloway Pastoral sold for 361c or $752.
Monto Cattle and Country's next fat and store sale will be held on August 26, with the Annual Monto All Breeds Bull Sale on Saturday, September 12.
