Heavy bulls sold from $1001 to $1763/hd, topping at 328c/kg. Cows sold to $1843.11 or 252c. Steers topped at $1913 or 408c with heifers reaching $1454 and 377c.
RB and K Dent's Brangus cross cows and calves sold for $1470/unit.
VL Whitby offered Bazadais cross cows which sold for 285c to make $1843. Twin Creeks Rural Holdings sold Brahman cows for 273c averaging 508kg to realise $1390.
MD Louttit yarded heavy Bazadais cross steers averaging $1894 at 375c while CS and ALR Anger offered Santa weaner steers averaging 267kg at 407c to make $1090. Bluffview Pastoral offered Brangus weaner steers making 407c to realise $724.
Coominglah Grazing Co presented various lines of heifers averaging between $1107 to $1213 or 341c. TJ and SL Clarke's Brangus heifers sold for 359c to make $1098. AR Maynard offered an even line of Santa weaner heifers for 377c or $925.
Monto Cattle & Country's next sale will be the Charbray and Charbray infused prime and store cattle show and sale on August 12, with presentations at 9.30 followed by the sale at 10am.
