The combined agents totalled 4487 head comprising 1883 steers, 2070 heifers, 403 cows, 82 bulls and 49 cows and calves.
With all meatworks operating, the prime market sold to a dearer trend with the best cows making well over 320c. Feeders once again sold to a firm trend with the occasional heavy pen selling above the rate.
The usual weaner steer buyers competed aggressively securing the better quality. With a large line of restocker heifers on offer the market responded accordingly selling to a dearer trend. Both restockers and vealer buyers were active again. Cows and calves sold to a firm trend.
