Eidsvold Livestock and Property held their fortnightly cattle sale on February 12. There was a yarding of 501 head, including 12 cows and calves.
The market has continued to climb in keeping with the welcome rainfall in most areas now. Steers in the 200-300kg weight range topped at 380c/kg returning $976/head.
Prices have held strong across the field to match the current climate conditions.
