As selling on Book 1 closed on January 10, the business opened on Book 2 the next day and Yarramalong sold eight yearlings at an average of $47,430.
Their top seller went for $160,000 to the buying partnership of Edmonds Racing, Kestrel Thoroughbreds and Lucky Clover.
By the handy Better Than Ready from the Freeze mare Freezethemillions, the colt has a 4X4 cross to stellar sire Danzig and his fifth dam Sweet Life left nine foals, among them Summoned mother of the Blue DIamond-Lightning Stakes winner Zeditave.
Three other yearlings from the Yarramalong draft, also by Better Than Ready, attracted six figure bids.
As it had on the first four days of selling Eureka Stud, Cambooya, kept the auctioneers active with eight youngsters selling under the hammer for an average of $54,000.
Bryan and Daniel Guy took a liking to Lot 1003 from Eureka, a son of Scat Daddy's highly successful sprinting sire No Nay Never, whose offspring include the Newmarket Middle Park Stakes winner Ten Sovereigns.
Eureka's colt, a foal of September 2018, has as his granddam the highly talented Shackle, winner of four races and related to the Surround Stakes placegetter Confer and Black Opal Stakes third Arrest.
KBL Thoroughbreds, Beaudesert, sold four yearlings on the day for prices between $140,000 and $275,000.
David Redvers Bloodstock, Sandhurst Bloodstock, Suman Hedge Bloodstock and McEvoy-Mitchell Racing, Victoria, outpointed others in a bidding duel to secure the first crop son of Shalaa, champion of his age in Great Britain and France. It was KBL's top priced lot.
Tony Santic, who raced triple Melbourne Cup winner Makybe Diva, took home a yearling by Divine Prophet from the winning Danzero mare Miatoko , which had been presented by KBL.
Buying under the Makybe Racing and Breeding banner, Santic stopped the auctioneer at $230,000 for the filly whose family includes Testashadow and her own half-brother Spaceboy, by Deep Field.
