Eidsvold Livestock and Property held their final sale for 2019 on Wednesday, with a yarding of 504 head.
As the market is getting tougher due to the current climate, the lighter weaner steer and heifer markets continue to be the most affected. Steers 300 - 400kg sold to 254c/kg, while heifers in the same weight range sold to 257c.
Charbray cows from Eidsvold sold for 213c at 485kg returning $1035/hd and Charbray steers made 260c at 264kg returning $687/hd.
Santa cross steers from Eidsvold sold for 254c at 410kg returning $1042/hd, while Droughtmaster heifers sold for 257c at 357kg returning $919/hd.
Brangus cross bull from Mundubbera sold for 218c at 570kg returning $1243/hd. Brahman cross heifers from Monto sold for 212c at 284kg returning $604/hd.
