Whether they emerged from magical Cinderella-style carriages, Kenworth prime movers or a classic American car, the graduating seniors from The Glennie School in Toowoomba were ready for their night of nights on Thursday.
Taking place at Picnic Point, the scenic venue had a bushfire as a backdrop this year, and some of the families present had been battling them for a number of days.
The year 12 formal was a time for all, whether fighting fires or dealing with drought, to put away their cares for a few hours and celebrate the wonderful memories and friendships their formal schooling had given them.
