The Gracemere combined agents presented a total of 3990 head on Friday, comprising 1472 steers, 1792 heifers, 650 cows, 36 bulls, and 38 cow and calf units.
Several larger lines were sourced from Isaac and Central Highlands regions with heavier and prime cattle being met by a strong market as regular buyers were in high demand. Lighter steer articles eased slightly, with heifers and lesser quality cattle drawing further back on last week's rate by up to 20c.

Slaughter cows sold to 258c, average 214c, cows 400-450kg made 280c, average 182c, cows 320-400kg reached 204c, average 157c, and cows under 320kg made 140c, average 127c.
Heavy heifers sold to 269c, average 249c, heifers 300-400kg made 270c, average 218c, heifers 200-300kg reached 224c, average 187c, and heifers under 200kg made 200c, average 165c.
