Simbrah steers 14 months make $900 at Miriam Vale
A quality yarding of just under 300 head saw the market firm at Tuesday's Miriam Vale sale. Buyers came from Gayndah and Rockhampton with strong local support.
Calvin Parker, Bororen, sold Simbrah steers 14 months for $900. The Turner family sold Brahman cross weaner steers for $750. Ross Graving, Lowmead, sold Brahman cross No 9 steers for $520. Generally weaner steers sold from $350 to $520.
Terri Ferris, Bororen, sold Brangus cross heifers for $400. The Turner family, Lowmead, sold Brahman cross weaner heifers for $390. Most weaner heifers sold from $270 to $350.
The next Miriam Vale cattle sale will be Tuesday, August 20.
