Brangus steers No 8 make $585 at Miriam Vale
A yarding of 350 head saw the market ease at the Miriam Vale monthly sale on Tuesday.
Buyers came from Rockhampton, Bundaberg with local support.
Terri Ferris, Bororen sold Brangus steers No 8 for $585. John Roylance, Bororen sold Grey Brahman weaner steers for $465. Older weaner steers sold from $400 to $480, with younger types $320 to $400.
Island Creek, Mount Maria sold a pen of Droughtmaster cows PTIC for $1105.
Steve and Marlene Walker, Miriam Vale sold quality Droughtmaster cross breeder type heifers for $500.
Emily Pointon, Miriam Vale sold quality Charbray heifers No 8 for $590, while smaller heifers sold from $155 to $300.
Most store cows sold from $500 to $600.
