Celebrating an exciting milestone, the 2019 Ag-Grow Emerald Field Days is the 30th running of what has become an important event for agriculture in the Central Queensland region.
Being held from June 20 to 22, Ag-Grow Emerald is now recognised as a major event and has grown to become not just one of the largest spending field days on the national circuit, but a social event of the year for the surrounding rural communities.
Ag-Grow Emerald has created a momentum of its own as it defies challenges such as the drought and subsequent economic conditions and continues to grow consistently introducing annually anywhere from 30 to 50 new exhibitors.
This continued growth gives organisers a measure of pride.
Ag-Grow Emerald Field Days manager Donna Reeves said the Ag-Grow Emerald Field Days prides itself on building on its success year after year, striving to produce the strongest platform for exhibitors to launch their agricultural products and services to Australia and the world.
"In 2018 we welcomed more than 16,000 people through our gates over three terrific days to carry out business with more than 350 exhibitors representing the best of Australia's agriculture industry," Ms Reeves said.
"That was more than 1,000 people and more than 50 exhibitors up on 2017.
"I believe our continued growth comes from Ag-Grow being more than just a field days - it is a great social event for the entire family.
"We work hard on the promotion side of things and everything just seems to work well together.
"I am in close contact with exhibitors and visitors and implement changes to make the event bigger and better based on those discussions.
Our continued growth comes from being more than just a field days - it is a great social event.
