Combined Selling Agents of Gracemere presented a yarding of 4172 head, comprising 2018 steers, 1688 heifers, 445 cows, 21 bulls and 98 cow and calf lots. Most cattle came from local vendors, with several lines from as far north as Collinsville present.
Overall, quite a good quality and conditioned offering, with increased numbers of forward conditioned weaners. The normal processors operated, along with a larger panel of restockers and feeder buyers.
There were decreases in prices across most of the younger cattle classes related to quality and the finish on many of the weaners. However, grown heifers, grown steers and the best conditioned processor pens improved a little.
