AGRICULTURAL producers aren't the only ones investing into the sector and local north Queensland economy.
New and used agricultural machinery dealer, NQ Agricultural Services, is also putting resources back into the business to provide exceptional service and products.
Located in the heart of the Tableland at Tolga, NQ Agricultural Services, which covers north Queensland, is the main dealer for Claas agricultural machinery, a renowned German manufacturer of tractors, headers, hay equipment and forage harvesters.
It is also the dealer for Massey Ferguson, Fendt, Amazone. Other brands sold and serviced include Kioti, Vaderstad, Pastro orchard machinery, Fieldquip and Goldacres.
Its service team looks after and services all of the above as well as other major brands.
Owner, James Fisher, described the operation as a "very proactive and forward thinking business".
"We have been the main Claas dealer here for over five years and we have just taken on the range of AGCO products, being Massey Ferguson, Fendt and Iseki," Mr Fisher said.
Adding to the knowledge pool is James Smart, a technician from the United Kingdom with a background on John Deere products who has been working on Claas machinery in this country for the past five years.
Mr Fisher said Mr Smart had relocated his family to Tolga to be part of the business and join a very strong service department.
The business also boasts a strong parts team led by Mick Sinclair who is an asset to the company.
Another new face to become part of NQ Agricultural Services' team is Craig Hutchings who, like Mr Smart, has moved to the region from South Australia in order to work for the business.
"Craig has joined the sales team and we are very lucky to have someone with over 10 years experience with ACGO product range including Massey Ferguson and Fendt," Mr Fisher said.
Meet the friendly team at the FNQ Field days in Mareeba (May 29 - 31).
