The market was firm to dearer at last week's Miriam Vale show sale.

A yarding of 620 head saw a firm to dearer market at last week's Miriam Vale show sale. Buyers came from Clermont, Dingo, Gayndah, Maryborough and Rockhampton with local support.

Grand champion pen of the sale was awarded to a pen of No 7 Brangus Heifers account of Shamrock Brangus, Bororen returning $940.

Julieanne Blows, Ubobo sold a pen of No 8 Brahman cross steers for $1090 with the balance of the steer yarding returning between $700-$900.

The Turner family, Lowmead presented the top pen of Brangus cross No 9 Steers to return $950 with smaller weaner steers selling from $300-$450.

A pen of Brangus cross cows and calves account Miller family, Miriam Vale sold for $925/unit.
