In a stirring display of solidarity, the Rocky All-Stars Elite Brahman Female Sale vendor group have rallied to the aid of their friends and colleagues in NW Qld who've been severely impacted by the recent flood event.
Sale agent Michael Smith, Elders Stud Stock Toowoomba, said sale vendor Scott Angel from Glengarry Brahman Stud first suggested the idea of donating all proceeds from the sale of semen packages being offered on sale day, March 16, to the Sisters of the North charity.
"I then approached the vendors who didn’t catalogue a semen package, and they've come on-board to each donate 50 per cent of the proceeds from one of their females to be sent to the same charity," Mr Smith said.
"Scott has also approached V8 Ranch from Hungerford in Texas and they've agreed to donate 100pc of the proceeds from their lots.
"Elders will also be donating our marketing fee to the charity."
Mr Smith said the sale vendors all realise the impact on, and the importance of the business from the people of NW Qld.
"This is their way of giving something back to the people that have supported them over many years."

Sisters of the North is the brainchild of a group of women who want to encourage connection, community and empowerment as a means of developing resilience against any adversity potentially experienced.
They, like many, have family and friends affected in NW Qld and have set up a GoFundMe page to raise funds for them.
