EXPERIENCED rural property agent Ben Forrest has been appointed as the Queensland State leader of the Colliers International Agribusiness Transactions team.
Mr Forrest, 42, has worked in the rural property industry since 2004, joining Colliers International in 2016.
Mr Forrest has been involved in a number of big ticket rural transactions including the 1.6 million hectare Clifton Hills sale which included 18,000 cattle, the 4876ha Rolleston irrigated cropping operation Lynora Downs for $26.5m, Clover Downs covering 125,293ha at Cunnamulla for $26.5m, and the 31,213ha Longreach holding Glenthomson for $8.4m.
Colliers International agribusiness head Rawdon Briggs said Mr Forrest’s best in the business marketing platforms and clear personal skills made it a natural progression to take Queensland to another level of growth.
